Dr Tara Francis co-founded The LAAM with a clear aim: to train the next generation of aesthetic practitioners to the same standard she holds herself to in clinic. She is known across the industry for natural-looking, individually tailored results, and for teaching that same philosophy to every delegate who trains with her.

Background

Dr Tara built her reputation in facial aesthetics almost immediately after graduating from King’s College London. She spent three years as the resident Aesthetic Doctor at Harvey Nichols before moving on to become Director of Aesthetics at Twoth in St John’s Wood, where she built and led her own clinical team.

She is an ambassador for Obagi Medical and sits on the faculty of Teoxane, one of the world’s leading dermal filler companies, roles that reflect the standing she holds within the wider aesthetics industry beyond her work at The LAAM.

Her approach

Dr Tara treats every patient, and every delegate, as an individual. Her guiding principle is enhancement rather than alteration: results that look like the patient, not like a template. That extends to a willingness to say no. She will decline a treatment she doesn’t believe is appropriate or in a patient’s best interests, and she teaches delegates to apply the same judgement in their own practice.

This combination, technical precision paired with clinical restraint, is what she brings to the training room at The LAAM.

What Dr Tara teaches

At The LAAM, Dr Tara leads training in advanced injectable techniques, including:

• Tear trough correction
• Profile balancing (nose, chin and lips)
• Lip enhancement
• Non-surgical nose enhancement
