Our Courses
1. By signing the online booking form, you agree to these terms and conditions.
2. By completing the online booking form, you agree to fulfilling your commitment to the full course fee.
3. Your CPD certificate will only be issued after completion of the full course
4. This course is only available to medical professionals (medical doctors, dentists and NMC registered nurses/midwives). You will need to provide your registration details at the time of booking, and a copy of your photographic ID
5. Cancellation policy: If you wish to cancel your course, a cancellation fee will be applied. If the cancellation is made more than 4 weeks in advance of the course start date, a £50 admin fee will be charged.
For courses cancelled between 2 and 4 weeks in advance, a charge of 50%, of the full course fee will apply. For courses cancelled less than 2 weeks in advance, a charge of 100% of the full course fee will apply. Cancellation fees are applied as it is not often possible to re-book cancelled places at less than 1 months notice
What personal data we collect and why we collect it
COMMENTS
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.Media
COOKIES
If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.
If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.
When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.
If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie includes no personal data and simply indicates the post ID of the article you just edited. It expires after 1 day.
EMBEDDED CONTENT FROM OTHER WEBSITES
Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.
These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

We track website visitors using Google Analytics, this includes country of location.
Who we share your data with
We do not share or sell your personal data with any individual or third party app.
How long we retain your data
For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
What rights you have over your data
If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
Where we send your data
Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service. All mail submissions come directly to the LAAM and will be stored within our Mailchimp service. Your email address is added to a mailing list which you are free to unsubscribe from within the email.

- You have a right to see the information we hold about you
- To access this you need to provide a request in writing to our data protection officer, together with proof of identity
- We will usually process your request free of charge and within 30 days however we reserve the right to charge a reasonable administration fee and to extend the period of time by a further two months if the request is manifestly unfounded or vexatious and/or is very complex
Right to erasure
You have a right to ask us to erase your personal data in certain cases (details may be found in Article 17 of the GDPR)
We will deal with your request free of charge and within 30 days but reserve the right to refuse to erase information that we are required to retain by law or regulation, or that is required to exercise or defend legal claims
